Salutations, beautiful people!

As a poet, I am excited to be at the forefront of a socially engaged art practice known as Narratives for Change. I apply an interdisciplinary approach to support racial and gender healing and liberation through mindfulness education, all-encompassing storytelling, consciousness-raising, and cultural organizing.

Currently, my focus is creating the program “Mindful and Well-Being Practices” designed for people of the global majority (BIPOC). Other key projects include: Mindfulness for Black Women on the Breast Cancer Journey🔸See the Girl Monologues: Storytelling to advance the rights of girls and elevate justice reform🔸Developmental and contributing editor for the book, “It’ll Take Some Tellin’” (the life of Alternate ROOTS artists and cultural organizers)🔸Hybrid Poetry Chapbook and EP, “Black Joy Always Lives in the Revolution™️.”
